Farfalle blu,
nella loro apparente calma,
svolazzano nella mia mente...
Farfalle blu,
macchiate di nero
come su un altalena,
fanno ondeggiare
i miei malinconici pensieri
verso qualcosa
che nemmeno conosco,
qualcosa
che quantomeno sembra essere
meglio
di questa vita normale...

flies in my mind.
Blue butterflies,
stained of black,
as on a swing,
they make to ripple
my melancholy thoughts
toward something that I even know.
what at least
it seems
to be better
than this normal life...
